Police Log: Personal-Injury Accident

CHAZY — Three were injured in a two-car accident Tuesday.

Police Log: Personal-Injury Accident Shortly before 9:20 p.m., Danny R. Hill, 43, of Chazy, was driving a 2001 Chevy Silverado east on Miner Farm Road in the Town of Chazy when he failed to yield to the right of way at the intersection with Route 22, State Police said.

A 2004 Buick sedan driven by Christopher Striker, 53, of Swanton, Vt., was traveling south on Route 22 and struck Hill's vehicle on the driver's side, police said.

Hill's vehicle rolled several times and left the roadway via the south shoulder, striking several bushes and trees, police said.

Hill was extricated from his vehicle and taken to CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, police said.
Kimberly J. Hill, 46, a passenger in Hill's pickup was also taken to CVPH for a report of a neck injury, police said.

James A. Sessums Jr., 54, of Chazy, a passenger in Striker's vehicle was taken to CVPH for a report of a neck injury, police said. Sessums was later taken to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt., for further treatment, police said.

The accident is still under investigation and charges are pending.
